Motherhood
My biggest issue with motherhood is the same issue I have had since the start.
It’s me.
It’s not my children.
It’s not my husband.
It’s not my past.
It’s denying the power of Grace for today, and grace for the future. It’s denying the power that my God shall supply all my mothering needs—> according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). That means the good days and the bad.
I give you the Happiest New Year blessing, from the clan that makes motherhood the best journey God has given me.
My New Year’s resolution this year is the same one I have had every year.... and it will be the same resolution every year until the day I dwell in the house of the Lord...
- it’s to Seek Him, to be available for His radical plans, to guard my tongue in affliction and to speak praises about Him to my children.
The only true resolution we can find is the surrendering of our lives to the one who gave His.
